Information we may collect
Depending on account mode and features used, Black Ledger may process account identifiers, email address, profile preferences, learning progress, assessment attempts, practice activity, journal entries, simulator interactions, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How information is used
Information is used to operate accounts, save learning progress, personalize educational pathways, provide support, improve product reliability, prevent abuse, and measure product performance.
Storage and security
Device-only mode stores an encrypted learner vault on that device. Cloud mode is designed to use hosted identity plus authenticated server-side storage. Security controls reduce risk but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Access, export, and deletion
Production launch should provide clear methods for users to access, export, correct, and delete their account data. Some records may be retained when required for security, legal, fraud-prevention, or transaction purposes.
Do not submit brokerage secrets
Do not place brokerage passwords, API secrets, Social Security numbers, full payment-card data, or other highly sensitive financial credentials into lessons, journals, support forms, or learner-profile fields.
