What is Black Ledger?
A guided trading-education platform combining structured curriculum, practice, simulated market decision-making, journaling, assessment, and competency tracking.
Is this investment advice?
No. Black Ledger provides general educational content and training exercises. It does not provide personalized recommendations about whether to buy, sell, or hold a security or financial product.
Is The Desk real-money trading?
No. The Desk is an educational simulation and replay environment unless a future feature is explicitly labeled otherwise. Simulated fills, market conditions, and results can differ materially from live trading.
Can experienced traders skip beginner material?
The product direction supports placement and challenge assessments. The Trading Inventory recommends a starting point, and later versions should allow learners to demonstrate earlier competency rather than repeating every lesson.
What does a credential mean?
A Black Ledger credential records completion and demonstrated competency against Black Ledger's own educational standards. It is not a degree, college credit, CEU, professional license, broker/dealer qualification, or prediction of future performance.
Does a high process grade mean a trade will be profitable?
No. A process grade evaluates planning and decision quality. Markets are uncertain, and disciplined decisions can still lose money.
Will there be a community?
Community, live education, office hours, and mentor workflows are planned after the core education and practice experience is production-stable.
How is learner data stored?
Device-only accounts use an encrypted local vault. The production direction is secure cloud identity and server-side learner profiles so progress can sync across devices. Public launch requires verification of that cloud path before paid access is enabled.
